Listening

I remember as a child how important it was to me for my mom and dad to listen to whatever I wanted to tell them.  I remember the difference in how I felt when they listened and when they didn't. Because I have always made time to listen to my children, I have two grown sons that still love to tell me things every day. I think it's important to happily listen to your children when they want to tell you something - if you don't - eventually they will stop wanting to tell you things.
